Facility Use Information

Rental rates vary depending on the time of year, specific dates, space, equipment needs, and the amount of time required for your event.  An advance security deposit is required. Please call 239-472-2155 for rate information.

Rentals at The Community House include use of tables and chairs, advance set-up according to your direction/plan, and breakdown, and clean up after your event.  The following furnishings are available on site for your use:

  • 5’ Round Tables (seats 8 people)
  • 6’ x 30” Banquet Tables (seat 6 people)
  • 8’ x 30” Banquet Tables (seats 8-10 people)
  • Upholstered Chairs

Linen services are available at a nominal rate.

Rental includes the use of the building’s modern sound system.  However, if tech support is needed for your event, an additional charge will apply.

The Community House has a picture rail in most rooms, which provides for easy hanging of banners and artwork.  However, the use of tape, tacks, or nails is prohibited to protect the facility from damage.  

No open flames or uncovered candles are permitted.

Finally, due to City Ordinance, placement of “captive balloons” anywhere on the exterior grounds of the Community House is not permitted. These are prohibited anywhere in Sanibel. This includes any lighter-than-air balloon secured by a string or tether.   (Sanibel Ordinance #106-112, Section (8))
