Join us for the December Arts and Crafts Fair at the Community House!

Taking place this Sunday, December 14, from 9am – 2pm.

Original art makes great gifts! Multiple fine artists will be attending this show, along with a fantastic variety of other makers offering handmade shell art, ceramics and porcelain, handcrafted clothing, jewelry, bags and accessories, greeting cards, ornaments, decorations, homemade bakery items, and other gift ideas.

Artists joining us this month include:

Leslie Angel – Tin Earrings (I just returned from France with a lot of tin that I will be using along with local tin I have collected.) I also have Decoupage Shells (I have collected all the shells from the beaches of Sanibel).

Laura Ball – I paint local wildlife and things that remind you of Sanibel.

Mara Balodis – Original acrylic paintings

Nicholae Blanchard – Fused glass; bowls, dishes, fish, seaglass turtles, mermaid and dolphins and nautical trinkets. Gel candles.

Mary Jo Boal – Scarves, with charms

Paulette Boudreau – Tropical themed watercolor

Marcy Calkins – Original oils and acrylic framed painting

Steve Canton – Providing a wide variety of home-make baked goods, including breads, cookies, pastries, and other delicious items.

Renee Chastant – I paint colorful, exuberant watercolors of birds, other animals and flora.

Jane Cooke – Handmade kids clothes and accessories.

Antonia Crook – Small to large oil paintings and watercolors of local scenes and wildlife.

Jayne Crowell – Crossbody, bamboo handled handbags, shoulder purses and accessories handmade from Portuguese Cork fabric.

Rhonda Emmer – Placemats and tablerunners

KoriAnn Evans – 3D Pop Up Cards

Guna Foraker – Children’s character bows, Baby onesies, Burpcloths, Hurricane wood trees, vases and footballs, Homemade felt ornaments, Finished Bucilla felt stockings.

Sharon Gajajiva – I create Whimsical Ceramics sculptures of a variety of marine life. I also create beautiful flowers and butterflys to put out in the garden.

Carol Generoso – Using a sheet of sterling or wire, I hand cut, file, shaped, soldered and polish each piece individually.

Matt & Melissa Gindling – Original illustrations, greeting cards, stickers and magnets.

Jennifer Haver – Beach and boat scenes art work on canvas and wood; Acrylic painting and broken glass art, shell adornments. resin art on canvas, magnets, wine glasses, wine stoppers, trinket dishes, clocks, mermaid sand bottles. Christmas ornaments; hand painted, resin art with shell adornments, shell/rock/ crystals Sun catchers/ ornaments.

Roger Holly – Oil paintings and seashell items

Jane Hudson – Lumbar fish, Spirit Dolls, owls, cats etc.

Lori Jacobson – Shell animals, artwork hearts, initials, starfish ornaments, jewelry

Linda Kruleski – Wild life photos with many sets. Such as nest building to fledging. Also, items with my photos incorporated.

Romy Maple – I create photography pillows from my original photos. I make candles from cockle shells that I collect after Ian. And my dainty sterling silver earrings.

Sally McGowan – Embroidered ornaments and pillows.

Chari Mooradian – I have beautiful resin paintings and pieces.

Karen Navarre – Fabric purses totes and wallets. Other sewn items.

Alexandra Owen – 100% Cotton Handmade Indian Block Print Apparel and Custom items for the Home

Deborah Salvatore – Handpainted created artwork including canvas..prints..cards and holiday ornaments.

Jewelyn Sims – Acrylic and glass mixed media. Sanibel inspired art.

Holly Slezak – Colorful handmade anklets and unique resin necklaces.

Perky Smoot – I have found all of my sea glass, shells and stones on various beaches, and created unique pieces of jewelry.

Patty Sprankle – Hand painted porcelain creations, including small boxes, ornaments, and unique bowls, plates and vessels.

Raymond Yarema – Fused glass artwork for both functional and decorative use.
