Join us for a festive Arts and Crafts Fair at the Community House!

Taking place this Sunday, December 15, from 9am – 2pm.

There will be over 30 artists and makers joining us for this fun event. Find a wide variety of unique, handmade items: original paintings, pottery, ceramics, glass art, handcrafted jewelry, beautiful purses, greeting cards, paper crafts, sewn accessories, beach decor, shell crafts, baked goods, and gift ideas.

Participating artists this month include:

Laura Ball – Paintings of local wildlife and things that remind you of our beautiful Sanibel Island

Mara Balodis – Original Acrylic Paintings

Mary Jo Boal – Scarves and charms.

Paulette Boudreau – Tropical watercolor originals prints and cards.

Marcy Calkins – Oils and acrylics on stretched canvas or linen panels painted plein air or studio

Steve Canton – A wide variety of tasty baked goods, including breads, pastries, cookies and more…with gluten-free options also available.

Renee Chastant – Renee’s work includes original art, mostly watercolor, as well as items such as cards and mugs printed with her art.

Gina Cotter – Handmade polymer clay jewelry

Joanne Craig – Crushed and kiln fired glass on canvas or wood with resin coat for protection

Jayne Crowell – Hand crafted crossbody and shoulder bag purses, handbags and accessories made from cotton and cork fabrics.

Rhonda Emmer – Placemats and table runners

KoriAnn Evans – 3D Pop Up Cards

Laurie Flannery – Sterling Silver, Copper and Gold Filled Handmade Jewelry with semi-precious stones, pearls & shells. Oyster & Shell Ornaments. Small selection of paintings & greeting cards.

Sharon Gajajiva – Sharon makes whimsical ceramic sea creatures with deep textures and beautiful glazed colors. All of her pieces are fired to go in or outside.

Mike Gibson – Inlaid Opal Jewelry

Rick Hogue – Rick builds and/or engraves mirrors, clocks, cutting boards, specialty boxes and even etching on glass and stainless steel insulated tumblers.

Ciera Howard – My artwork consists of multiple items that relate to nature/wildlife. Most of my artwork is either photography/pointillism, but I also have art in marker, paint, or hatching mediums/styles. Some of my artwork is also composed of mixed media too.

Matt & Melissa Gindling – Beachy and whimsical illustrations, stickers, cards and coloring books.

Jill Keenley – Flamingo Pottery is a woman owned company that produces one of a kind and small batch pottery through hand building. The pottery is modern functional style with most of it having a tropical theme or influence in shape or color.

Candi Maraldi – Candi’s acrylic paintings feature Florida swamps, large cats like tigers, abstract portraits, and anything that falls in between.

Christine Marshall – Fused glass night lights

Mary Meehan – Fused Glass art (can be hung on wall or displayed on stand) and functional items (plates, bowls, nightlights, etc.)

Jewelyn Sims – My art is original paintings using shells, glass and resin. In addition, I do free-form glass and shell with resin wreaths, Christmas trees and other island objects.

Perky Smoot – Jewelry made from sea glass that I collected from various beaches in Puerto Rico, then drilled, and created unique items.

Patty & Jim Sprankle – Jim creates amazing sculpted wood replicas of many types of birds, but mostly those found on and around Sanibel. Patty creates hand-treated porcelain products using paints, lusters and an amazing use of finishing techniques.

Elaine Sullo – Handmade paper crafts, including greeting cards and origami crane ornaments.

Vera Vellucci – Hand-painted glass, bottles with sand and lights and scrubbies.

Kat Zilboorg – I make baby quilts, quilted wall hangings, table runners and assorted sewn accessories.
