SCCF Nest Fest

Join the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation (SCCF) for their first-ever Nest Fest — a celebration of Sanibel and Captiva’s annual sea turtle and shorebird nesting season. With snowy plover nesting season underway, and least tern and sea turtle nesting beginning mid-April, they’re gathering to honor the return of nesting shorebirds and sea turtles to our shores.

The festivities will take place from 5-7 p.m. on April 14 at the Sanibel Community House — the evening before their sunrise sea turtle nest monitoring begins!

Nest Fest is a FREE, family-friendly event that will include activities and trivia for kids and adults, a presentation on what SCCF and their dedicated volunteers do to protect coastal wildlife, and opportunities to support our work. Please RSVP by April 4!

Appetizers and drinks will be provided.
