Sanibel Captiva Trust Company Wisdom of Women Series

The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company will continue its Wisdom of Women (WOW) series with a March seminar covering investment, financial and estate planning.

The presentation will touch on the basics of investing, financial planning to include retirement, long term care, caregiving, creditor protection, titling of trusts, inheritance, estate tax and more.

Case studies will be shared on the following scenarios that commonly impact women of any age:

• Suddenly single – whether through divorce, incapacity or death of a spouse
• Cash windfall – whether from the sale of a business or other significant asset, or an inheritance
• Midlife planning – how to make sure you have enough money to live on, what are your goals, how best to establish a legacy for family

The seminar will be led by female members of the Trust Company team, including Bell Tower office President Megan Marquardt, CFP®, CTFA.

“Questions we hear most often are ‘Do I have enough money to support my lifestyle in retirement and what happens financially if I find myself alone?’,” said Marquardt. “We hope our attendees leave with questions answered and resources for them to navigate their situation.”

The event begins at 9:30 a.m. with continental breakfast and the program at 10 a.m.
