In Geology\, Jack has worked on energy and environmental projects all over the world. He has served as a college professor\, research scientist\, petrophysical explorer\, trainer\, and environmentalist. His publications led to lecturing in Southeast Asia and the Middle East for an international engineering society. Since 2006 he has been an invited lecturer on ocean cruises folding together his interest in the interaction between Earth history and human history.
