SUMMARY:SCCF Sea Turtle Nest Cage Building Workshop
DESCRIPTION:SCCF Volunteer Opportunity \nAbout the event\nTo help protect sea turtle nests from predators during this nesting season\, we are looking for volunteers to help construct predator deterrent cages. We are in need of several hundred wire cages this summer to deter any future predation. The cages will be placed over nests on both islands by SCCF staff. \nWhat will volunteers do?\nVolunteers will be constructing 3’x3′ wire cages that will be placed around sea turtle nests to help protect them from predation.
