With snowy plover nesting season underway\, and least tern and sea turtle nesting beginning mid-April\, they’re gathering to honor the return of nesting shorebirds and sea turtles to our shores. \nThe festivities will take place from 5-7 p.m. on April 14 at the Sanibel Community House — the evening before their sunrise sea turtle nest monitoring begins! \nNest Fest is a FREE\, family-friendly event that will include activities and trivia for kids and adults\, a presentation on what SCCF and their dedicated volunteers do to protect coastal wildlife\, and opportunities to support our work.
